It is abudantly clear. The Electorate do not want 'just another politician'.
Mistrust and malaise in politics today shows that people want and deserve change. I know how the recent expenses scandals & issues over the handling of projects such as the Tram have angered people and how the actions (or lack of!) of some in power has tainted current & aspiring politicians.
This is where I can offer the Electorate of Drumbrae/Gyle a real alternative to the same old system. No baggage, no political degree or career in politics.
I have been a ‘Couch Conservative’ for a number of years and now I feel the only way to get things changed is to get involved.
I will use a common sense approach and back it up with real life experience that, in my opinion, is vital in politics today.
I will always stand up for what I believe is politically and socially right for the citizens of Edinburgh.
Invest your faith and trust and by voting on next May for a difference and not just another politician, you will help change the way Edinburgh is run.
